Ten years or so ago, if you really wanted to flex your shopping muscles, you may have had to venture out of Volusia County and into Orlando or maybe even Jacksonville to get your retail therapy.
But that’s no longer the case, as Volusia County has really upped its shopping game over the last few years.
Here are some of the best places to shop here in Volusia County.
Tanger operates outlet centers in more than 40 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Tanger Outlets Daytona opened in 2016 at the intersection of I-95 and LPGA Boulevard.
The open-air center features well known stores like Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Guess, J. Crew, Lane Bryant, Levi’s, Nike Polo Ralph Lauren, Vera Bradley, and many more.
One Daytona is another new exciting shopping and dining experience being built right across from Daytona International Speedway.
When it is complete it will be home to Bass Pro Shops (open now), Cobb Luxury Theater (open now), PF Chang’s, Guitar Center, Sunglass World, a Fairfield Inn and Suites, and much more.
The Volusia Mall
The Volusia Mall is the largest shopping center in the Volusia/Flagler area, and is anchored by stores like Dillard’s, JC Penney, and Macy’s. There is a food court, and several stand-alone restaurants have popped up on mall property in recent years such as Bahama Breeze, Cheddar’s, and more.
The Pavilion at Port Orange
The Pavilion at Port Orange is another open-air (with all this great weather, why not?) shopping center located, you guessed it, in Port Orange. While it does not feature as many stores as the previously mentioned Tanger Outlets, there are still quite a few great stores like Belk, HomeGoods, Kirkland’s, and Marshall’s, plus several smaller stores and specialty shops.
The Pavilion is also home to some very good restaurants like Malibu Beach Grill, San Diego Grill, Five Guys, Red Robin and more.
A 14-screen Regal Cinema rounds out the shopping center.
